At the fair, guests can enjoy a Philly Cheesesteak, a smoky BBQ Turkey Leg, tackle Porky’s Paradise Loaded Fries stacked with pulled pork, bacon crumb and cheese, or satisfy their sweet tooth with a Cookie Dough Sundae and chocolate-coated strawberries.

NSW: Paw Patrol characters to appear in Taronga Zoo for school holidays

Taronga Zoo Sydney is offering families a packed program for the spring school holidays, with wildlife experiences, live entertainment and new animal arrivals included with every zoo ticket and Zoo Friends annual membership.

A key drawcard this school holidays is the free PAW Patrol Kids Show, featuring characters Chase and Marshall on the Concert Lawns daily at 10.30am and 12.15pm. A character meet-and-greet will follow each day at 11.15am.

Ticketholders can also access a full day of interactive wildlife presentations, including Seals for the Wild, Free Flight Birds, Reptiles Alive and additional keeper talks held across the zoo.

Families visiting this spring will also be able to meet several of Taronga’s newest residents, including Mediterranean donkeys Prince and Nickel, a flock of lambs and goat kids, a newly arrived quokka named Pea, southern hairy-nosed wombat joey Bira, and five koala joeys that have begun venturing outside the pouch.

Fever to bring VR Moon journey at Olympic Park

Kids can walk on the Moon and explore the Apollo 11 spacecraft at Fever’s Luna: A Journey to the Moon experience taking place at Sydney Olympic Park’s Fever Pavilion.

The family-friendly interactive adventure will arrive in Sydney on 17 September 2026. The 60-minute experience blends historical accuracy, cutting-edge VR technology and cinematic storytelling to transport visitors into the heart of humanity’s great space achievement. Selene, an AI companion, will guide guests in uncovering the teamwork, innovation and courage that defined the Apollo 11 mission.

Darling Quarter to launch Little Chef cooking classes

Each 90-minute session is free but ticketed, with small groups tailored to different age groups.
