Seabourn invites guests to its new 30-day “Amazon Explorer: Rivers & Rainforests” voyage on Seabourn Quest to experience a journey that combines scenic Amazon River cruising, riverside destinations and an overnight stay in Manaus.

The journey will sail roundtrip from Miami from November 18 to December 18, 2028.

The voyage visits 15 destinations across seven countries including Santarém, Boca da Valeria, Parintins and more. Seabourn’s new Amazon voyage offers a distinctive way to discover one of the world’s most fascinating regions. The Amazon is home to extraordinary biodiversity, the world’s largest rainforest and one of its most iconic waterways.

Amazon voyage highlights

  • Amazon River Scenic Cruising
  • Manaus, Brazil – one of most captivating cities in the Amazon
  • Santarém, Brazil – a destination near the confluence of the Amazon and Tapajós rivers
  • Boca da Valeria, Brazil – a small riverside community surrounded by dense rainforest
  • Parintins, Brazil – one of the Amazon’s most vibrant river destinations
  • Devil’s Island, French Guiana – a destination known for its dramatic history and remote setting
  • Gustavia, Saint Barthelemy – an elegant harbor that blends Swedish colonial and French Creole architecture

After the Amazon sailing, the ship will embark on two 10-day Caribbean holiday voyages before departing Miami on Jan. 7, 2029, for its 138-day World Cruise: Iconic Islands & Remote Horizons.

“The Amazon is one of the world’s most fascinating destinations, offering a sense of exploration unlike anywhere else in the world,” Seabourn president Mark Tamis said.

“Seabourn Quest will take guests into the heart of the Amazon to discover its extraordinary landscapes, cultures and traditions, while delivering the personalised service, thoughtfully curated experiences and intimate atmosphere that define Seabourn.”
