The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) Summit 2025 is now officially underway.
This inaugural event, exclusively for CATO members, is designed to address the evolving needs of tour operators and wholesalers.
The half-day business event which sold out earlier this month, brings together senior executives, business owners, and industry leaders for a dynamic program of expert-led sessions, strategic discussions, and high value networking.
“The overwhelming response is a clear sign that the industry values content curated and delivered by experts in their field – content that speaks directly to the challenges and opportunities our members face. This Summit delivers exactly what tour operators and wholesalers want to learn about,” CATO MD Brett Jardine said.
Held at the Watersedge at Campbells Stores, The Rocks, Sydney, the event will cover the following topics:
- Legal: Business Structures and Risk Management
- Foreign Exchange & Financial Strategies
- Business Optimisation through Outsourcing, Automation & Cyber Security
- Insurance Essentials: Public Liability vs Tour Operators Liability
- Mergers, Acquisitions & Succession Planning
- Lifecycle Marketing: From First Touch to Loyal Advocate
- The Consumer Shift: What’s Next for Touring?
Frontera Law founder and CATO Board member Aaron Zoanetti, who recently participated in Travel Weekly‘s first Hot Topic agent event ‘Riding the Economic Rollercoaster’ last month, will be presenting two of the sessions.
The event will conclude with CATO’s Annual General Meeting followed by a sold-out members-only dinner and the first-ever CATO Hall of Fame induction.
