Seven Seas Explorer has debuted in Western Australia on Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Australia Uncovered itinerary from Sydney to Singapore before sailing to Bali, followed by the Java Sea, South China Sea to finish in Singapore.
Dubbed ‘The Most Luxurious Ship Ever Built’ and docking in Fremantle on 6 February, Seven Seas Explorer delivers the ultimate experience at sea, starting from the state-of-the-art deluxe fittings and finishes, including 473 chandeliers, a US$7 million art collection (around AU$9 million), including pieces by Chagall and Picasso, and more than 4,262sqm of marble.
She sails with 746 guests, 548 crew, 373 suites, and 10 decks offering an all-inclusive, in suite luxury experience like no other at sea. Every suite has spacious closets, high-end finishes, relaxing Elite Slumber beds and private balconies. Sizes range from 307 to 4,443sqft (93.6 to 443sqm).

As for accommodation onboard, 366 spacious suites ensure a peaceful night’s sleep, with fine linens, oversized marble bathrooms and high-tech amenities for all the creature comforts at sea.
Onboard amenities range from the relaxing Pool Deck and Sports Deck with a golf net, putting green, paddle tennis court and bocce court, to the Serene Spa and Wellness centre and Culinary Arts Kitchen, where guests can take cooking masterclasses from international chefs. The opulent flagship restaurant Compass Rose is the largest such restaurant at sea, while the Serene Spa and Wellness centre promises to deliver complete rest and relaxation for those in need of respite at the end of the day.
Passengers can choose from French cuisine at the art-deco Chartreuse, inventive Asian at Pacific Rim, a classic steakhouse meal at Prime 7 or casual, intimate Italian dining at the popular Sette Mari. Evening entertainment includes the Constellation Theater for nightly musical revues and more.
