Silversea has completed its revitalisation of Silver Spirit, enhancing its onboard experience with refreshed public spaces and an expanded culinary offering with the brand’s signature S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) program and a renewed lifestyle-focused approach to dining and leisure onboard.

New poolside experience
Silversea is introducing an all‑new poolside concept onboard Silver Spirit, inspired by the Mediterranean’s iconic coastal locales. Riviera is designed as an all-day destination that flows from relaxed mornings to vibrant evenings – creating an inviting setting for guests to unwind, connect, and enjoy unhurried moments throughout the day. Key elements of the concept include:
- Riviera is designed to evolve with the pace of the day. Mornings are calm and restorative, creating space for wellness rituals, energising drinks, and quiet moments by the pool. As the day unfolds, the atmosphere becomes more social and lively, supported by curated music and casual dining, before transitioning into relaxed, social evenings under the stars – creating a natural gathering place from breakfast through dinner.
- Dining at Riviera is designed for easy, all‑day enjoyment with a menu of light fare and casual favorites, including fresh salads, wraps, burgers, plant‑based options, and seafood dishes such as ceviche and fish of the day. Inclusive offerings are complemented by premium selections, giving guests flexibility throughout the day.
- Drawing from the cafés, vineyards, and seaside bars of the Mediterranean, Riviera’s beverage menu features refreshing spritzes and poolside cocktails crafted for warm‑weather sailing, alongside curated selections of crisp white wines, roses, light to medium‑bodied reds, and Champagne for sunset moments. A range of low‑ and non‑alcoholic options are also available for wellness‑minded guests.

The ravamped Silver Spirit also unveils a modernised Venetian Lounge, featuring new, elegant drapery, updated carpeting, reupholstered banquettes, and a new state-of-the-art LED wall, elevating Silversea’s onboard entertainment experience.

Silver Spirit is now embarking on immersive journeys through Northern Europe, pairing the dramatic beauty of the Southern Norwegian Fjords with the rich history of the Channel Sea and Western Europe. With its intimate size and elevated comfort, Silver Spirit provides an elegant and effortlessly immersive way to explore the region’s most scenic and culturally vibrant shores. These voyages include:
- Southampton to Ijmuiden (Amsterdam): 27 May to 7 June 2026 – This 11-night journey from Southampton to Amsterdam introduces guests to the rich heritage of Belfast. From the home of The Beatles in Liverpool, guests will head north to Scotland, exploring its characterful islands and stately cities like Edinburgh and Lerwick in the Shetland Islands.
- Ijmuiden (Amsterdam) to Copenhagen: 7 to 19 June 2026 – This 12-day voyage begins with a relaxing day at sea before continuing into Norway’s breathtaking southern fjords, including calls in Stavanger, Rosendal, and Vik. Departing from Lisbon on a 50‑day journey, the revitalised ship will guide travellers through 40 destinations across 12 countries. From iconic cultural capitals like Istanbul, Dubrovnik, and Barcelona to hidden gems such as Volos, Gythion, and Amalfi, the voyage will offer deeply immersive shore experiences and exclusive events throughout the Mediterranean. These include a private Renaissance‑themed journey in Florence and a special evening at Istanbul’s historic Şerefiye Cistern, giving guests an intimate, up-close look at the region’s history and heritage.
