Silversea has unveiled its voyage collection 2027-28 which includes numerous aspects of innovation, such as their debut summer season in Japan, unprecedented warm-water expeditions, and new itineraries aboard two state-of-the-art Nova Class ships.

Three new Grand Voyages offers deeper immersion in the Mediterranean, Asia, and South America. Plus, guests can explore more boutique ports while enjoying a slower pace of travel, with shorter, combinable sailings.

The collection Includes 414 new voyages on 12 ships, the collection offers a reimagined portfolio of destination experiences on all seven continents. Ranging from six to 77 days in duration, the new sailings include 271 classic voyages and 143 expeditions to over 600 of the world’s most iconic and off-the-beaten path destinations in more than 100 countries, with 30 maiden calls. General sales open on 22 October 2025.

Aspects of innovation include Silversea’s debut summer season in Japan, unprecedented warm-water expeditions, and new itineraries aboard two state-of-the-art Nova Class ships. Three new Grand Voyages in the Mediterranean, Asia, and South America offers deeper immersion. Guests can explore more boutique ports while enjoying a slower pace of travel, with shorter, combinable sailings.

Named ‘Memories that Move You,’ Silversea’s voyage collection 2027-2028 invites travellers experience the world in its most extraordinary form, leaving them with memories powerful enough to move them forever. Built around the world’s most captivating cultural moments, the new voyages are timed to coincide with iconic events and lesser-known festivals.

“Our voyage collection 2027-2028 marks a new chapter of innovation in luxury travel,” Silversea president Bert Hernandez said. “Silversea’s 12 ships host guests on 414 classic and expedition voyages to many of the world’s most iconic and hidden destinations – few of which even the most discerning travellers ever get to see, including 30 maiden calls.

“We will deliver exclusive access to authentic festivals and events that best showcase the world’s most enriching local cultures and customs – including the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, the Monaco Grand Prix, and one of Japan’s largest cultural festivals, Awa Odori – leaving our guests with memories that will last a lifetime.”

Silversea’s new voyage collection 2027-2028 includes the following highlights: 

  • Exclusive access to marquee events and local festivals – Silversea’s voyage collection 2027-2028 is built around the world’s most captivating cultural moments, from globally iconic events to under-the-radar local festivals. Carefully timed and curated, these sailings allow guests to experience the true spirit of a destination, including almost 30 dedicated Silversea events that coincide with natural events, and cultural, sporting, and culinary festivals. Highlights include:
    • The Monaco Grand Prix, an adrenaline-charged ballet of speed and precision the famous Carnival in Rio de Janeiro
    • Cherry blossom season in Japan and Awa Odori in Tokushima, the country’s largest dance festival
    • The Edinburgh Military Tattoo the San Sebastián Street Festival, one of Puerto Rico’s most important celebrations
    • the Puccini Opera Festival, honoring the famous Italian composer Giacomo Puccini
    • Bastille Day in France
  • Two Nova-Class ships in the Mediterranean & the Caribbean and Central America – With its voyage collection 2027-2028, Silversea unveils the latest deployment of Silver Nova and Silver Ray – each of which marks a bold advancement in experiential luxury travel thanks to its pioneering asymmetrical design, spacious public areas, panoramic views, and vast array of dining and bar options. Both ships host guests on a combined total of 57 voyages in the Mediterranean and 11 sailings in the Caribbean and Central America, offering immersive itineraries that pair iconic destinations with rarely visited gems. In the Mediterranean, Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Istanbul, Syros, Gythion, and more, with guests discovering a hillside farm in Crete, flamenco and tapas in Cadiz, and private concerts in ancient Ephesus, among other experiences. In the Caribbean and Central America, travelers can explore Gustavia, Castries, St. Barts, St. Kitts, Bequia, and more.
  • Silversea’s first-ever summer season in Japan – Silversea unveils its first-ever Japan summer season with six combinable sailings aboard Silver Muse. Guests can visit smaller destinations and iconic ports, with calls coinciding with local festivals, rituals, and community celebrations, from Kyoto’s Gion Matsuri to Tokushima’s Awa Odori. Other highlights include Hiroshima, Akita, Nagasaki, and Shimizu near Mount Fuji, Busan, Jeju, Okinawa, Amami Oshima, and Kagoshima. Overnights in Osaka enables guests to explore the city’s vibrant street food and nightlife. On board, the S.A.L.T. culinary program deepens guests’ connections to Japan, with shore experiences including an umami discovery in Osaka and explorations of Kyoto’s regional specialties.
  • 143 new expeditions, including all-new innovations – Hosted by leading experts, Silversea immerses guests in the world’s most remote destinations on 143 expeditions. In addition to expeditions to Polynesia, the Philippines, Indonesia, the Kimberley Region, and the Galapagos, highlights include:
    • New warm-water destinations: Japan, Southeast Asia, Great Barrier Reef
    • 20 immersive discoveries of the Arctic & Greenland
    • 43 journeys to Antarctica, including 32 Antarctica fly cruise sailings
  • Three new grand voyages for authentic cultural immersion into the Mediterranean, Asia, and South America – Silversea’s 2027-2028 Grand Voyage collection invites travelers to discover vast regions in depth, with multiple overnights for unrushed exploration. Each voyage features off-the-beaten-path ports, UNESCO sites, and unique cultural experiences – enhanced by exclusive events.

Grand Voyage Mediterranean 2027 – Silver Dawn

Silversea presents the most immersive Mediterranean journey for 2027, a 60-day Grand Voyage aboard Silver Dawn. The itinerary traces the Western Mediterranean, Greek Isles, and Adriatic across 48 destinations in the shoulder season, from marquee highlights like Istanbul, Dubrovnik, and Casablanca to boutique ports such as Gythion, Giardini Naxos, and Porto Santo Stefano.

The voyage foregrounds authentic cultural immersion through Silversea’s S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) culinary program, including a Mallorcan family winery visit and a live-cooking lunch in Palma de Mallorca. Travelers can also enjoy an evening concert at Ephesus, reserved exclusively for Silversea.

Grand Voyage Asia 2028 – Silver Muse

Silver Muse hosts the 51-day Grand Voyage Asia 2028, an immersive journey across Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Japan with calls in 28 destinations in seven countries. The itinerary will include 10 overnights in Asia’s iconic cities, timed to Southeast Asia’s tropical warmth and Japan’s cherry blossom season. One of the most elegant ships to sail in Asia, Silver Muse’s 2025 refurbishment will see the installation of dedicated S.A.L.T. venues. The voyage will take in Saigon’s coffee culture, a S.A.L.T.-inspired discovery of Laem Chabang’s healthy cuisine, and Osaka’s essential tastes.

Grand Voyage South America 2028 – Silver Ray

Silversea unveils the 40-destination Grand Voyage South America 2028, a 77-day circumnavigation on Silver Ray, the newest, most luxurious ship to sail the continent. The curated itinerary highlights multiple UNESCO-listed points of interest and overnights in Lima (Callao), Valparaiso, Ushuaia, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and Manaus. Guests can ascend Corcovado for views of Christ the Redeemer, encounter King Penguins at Volunteer Point, and horseback ride through the Andes.

With expanded pre-, mid-, and post-cruise land programs, curated City Stays, and reimagined shore excursions, every journey in Silversea’s voyage collection 2027-2028 offers deeper choice, greater personalization, and unprecedented access.
