Singapore Airlines has announced enhanced choices for Australian travellers with schedule and aircraft updates across Adelaide, Brisbane, and Cairns during the northern summer and northern winter 2026 seasons.
Premium Economy Class will touch down in Brisbane from 1 November 2026, with a 24-seat Premium Economy Class cabin on one of SIA’s four daily Brisbane services (SQ265/266). This adds a new cabin option for customers travelling between Brisbane and Singapore, reintroducing the Airline’s popular Premium Economy Class and offering an enhanced onboard experience.
From 3 December 2026 to 31 January 2027, SIA will increase its Adelaide services to 12 times weekly, up from the current 10 times weekly, providing additional choices for customers travelling between Singapore and Adelaide during the year-end summer peak.
Customers in Cairns can enjoy more flexibility and choice for their travel plans from 1 December 2026, as SQ203/204 moves from four times weekly to a daily service. These daily services between Singapore and Cairns will operate on a Boeing 737-8.
Ahead of this, during the Northern Summer 2026 season, SIA will add a supplementary weekly service on the Cairns route with its Airbus A350-900 medium-haul aircraft, with SQ203/204 operating five times weekly from 6 July to 27 September 2026.
“Singapore Airlines regularly reviews our network to align capacity with demand,” Singapore Airlines regional vice president southwest Pacific Foo Chai Woo said. “These adjustments provide customers with more flight frequencies during the year-end peak and add an extra weekly service to Cairns during the Northern Summer peak.
“We’re committed to giving Australian travellers more choice and seamless connections through our Singapore Changi hub, alongside the award-winning service we know our customers value.”
