Singapore Airlines has once again outperformed its Australian rivals, picking up top honours for both customer satisfaction and trust among local travellers in a pair of major consumer-voted awards.
The carrier was named 2025 International Airline of the Year in the Roy Morgan Annual Customer Satisfaction Awards, announced on 30 April 2026, marking its sixth consecutive win and 10th overall. The awards draw on insights from Roy Morgan’s ongoing Single Source survey, which captures feedback from more than 60,000 consumers and 12,000 business decision-makers each year.
Hot on its heels, Singapore Airlines also secured the airline category in the Reader’s Digest 2026 Australia’s Most Trusted Brands Awards, announced 1 May, taking out the title for the fourth consecutive year. The long-running awards program, now in its 27th year, is based on a People’s Choice methodology conducted by an independent research firm, reflecting the views of thousands of Australians.
The double win underscores the airline’s continued dominance in the Australian market, where competition among full-service and premium carriers remains fierce.
“We are grateful to Australian travellers for their continued trust in SIA,” Singapore Airlines regional vice president South West Pacific, Foo Chai Woo said. “Australia remains an important market for the SIA Group almost 60 years on from our first operations Down Under in 1967.
“This recognition reflects the continuing work of our teams in Australia and across our network, who remain focused on delivering reliable operations and thoughtful customer care both on the ground and in the air.”
The accolades come as the airline ramps up its investment in Australia, including the return of its flagship Airbus A380 to the Singapore–Melbourne route during Northern Summer 2026. The move will add close to 90,000 seats over six months and reintroduce the airline’s premium Suites Class to the Melbourne market.
Further network enhancements are also on the cards, with schedule and aircraft upgrades planned across Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns and Melbourne through the Northern Summer and Winter 2026 seasons.
In a major boost for Western Sydney, tickets are now on sale for Singapore Airlines’ new daily return services to Western Sydney International Airport, set to commence on 23 November using Airbus A350-900 medium-haul aircraft.
Globally, the airline is also strengthening its European footprint, adding supplementary services on the Singapore–London Gatwick route to meet ongoing demand.
