With more than 55,000 hotel rooms, Singapore’s hotel scene is wide and varied. From a luxurious pamper, beach-side oasis or world-wide chain to ‘glam-packer’ lodgings and budget options Singapore has a room to suit most tastes.
Clarke Quay
A favourite with those anyone wanting to be near a range of places to eat, drink or just chill out to live music, the Novotel Clarke Quay is right on Clarke Quay’s doorstep, while walking crossing the historic Singapore River brings you to the resort-like Swissötel Merchant Court, which is on Merchant Road.
On the other side of Merchant Road is the Park Regis Singapore, or walk along the river from the Quay to cross Clemenceau Avenue and within a 5-minute walk, you’re at the Park Hotel Clarke Quay or Robertson Quay Hotel.
Sentosa
Forget the days when Sentosa just had two hotel; today the range is similar to what can be found on Singapore itself.

In the East
For those who reckon the fast-paced city and buzzing downtown is not their cup of tea, the hotels in Singapore’s east would be a welcome respite.
The Grand Mercure Roxy Singapore and Village Hotel Katong are both a stone’s throw from neighbourhood shopping centre Parkway Parade, while closer to the airport are newcomer Raintr33 Hotel Singapore, Village Hotel Changi and Capri by Fraser, Changi City.
New in town
2014 saw the arrival of Hotel Jen Orchard gateway in the heart of Orchard Road above the Somerset MRT station, Sofitel So in a heritage building right next to ‘satay street’ Boon Tat Street, The Westin Singapore in the financial centre and One Farrer Hotel & Spa, the first hotel in the Farrer Park precinct adjacent to Little India.
This year, Singapore will welcome the Patina Capitol Singapore, which blends heritage and contemporary interiors as it is housed in the original Capitol Theatre; The South Beach between Raffles Hotel and Suntec Singapore; and Genting Singapore in Jurong will be the ideal hotel for business meetings in the west of the city.
