The countdown is on for the 2026 Women in Travel Awards, with on-time entries closing Friday 25 September and the industry gathering at The Ivy, Sydney, on Wednesday 2 December to find out who’s taken home the top honours.
This year’s theme, ‘Never Too Much’, pushes women in travel to embrace ambition, authenticity and taking up space – think Vogue-inspired glamour and bold self-expression.
Entry and nomination are both free, and neither requires a lengthy application. Anyone can nominate a colleague, peer or mentor through the Women in Travel Awards website, adding a short message explaining why she deserves recognition. Nominators can choose to stay anonymous or include their name so the nominee knows who’s backing her.
A nomination alone isn’t enough to get a woman into contention, though – nominees still need to lodge their own entry for judges to consider them. Organisers are urging anyone who’s been nominated, or anyone considering entering off their own back, not to leave it too late.

The Ivy ceremony will double as the reveal for the 2026 Women in Travel Power List and the crowning of Woman of the Year, alongside the individual award categories.
