Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) welcomed three hotels in Ireland to its portfolio this month.
These properties span Cork City, Kenmare and Killarney and travellers can choose to stay at one of these hotels or head to all three.
Cahernane House Hotel (Killarney, Ireland)
The 48-bedroom Cahernane House Hotel is situated in the Irish countryside and overlooks rolling landscapes; mountains and the Killarney Lakes.
Visitors can discover natural wildlife via horseback riding, boating, cycling or fishing. The hotel features the Herbert Restaurant, which serves local cuisine and has been serving guests since 1877.
The Lansdowne Kenmare (Kenmare, Ireland)
One of the oldest landmarks in Kenmare, The Lansdowne Kenmare was originally built as the town residence of the 2nd Earl of Shelbourne. Purchased during lockdown by multi-hyphenate TV personality brothers John and Francis Brennan, the hotel was reopened in July last year.
It offers 28 bedrooms, several dining options, including The LK Café, the Dining Bar Terrace, and the Piano Lounge, where champagne and cocktails are served in a stylish setting with live piano thrown in at weekends.
The Montenotte Hotel (Cork City, Ireland)
The Montenotte in Cork is full of history. It was home to one of the Merchant Princes of Cork over 200 years ago and its heritage was reaffirmed when the sunken Victorian gardens were rediscovered in early 2017.
