Sofitel Hotels & Resorts has appointed Tracey Carter Knox as the commercial director of its flagship property in Australia, Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour.
Knox previously held the role of director of revenue at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour delivering a strong commercial performance underpinned by a deep understanding of revenue strategy, market dynamics, and cross-functional collaboration – demonstrating strong leadership and a clear ability to drive top-line growth through strategic planning, commercial alignment, and a results-oriented approach.
“Tracey has held her role as Director of Revenue at Sofitel Darling Harbour for the last two years and her performance has shown her capability to lead the hotel’s commercial function at a senior level, ensuring we remain competitive and agile in a fast-moving market,” Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour general manager, Sam Panetta, said.
“Tracey’s promotion is a reflection of her proven track record and the confidence we have in her ability to continue delivering strong business outcomes.”
Knox has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry working across portfolios including IHG, Star Entertainment Group, BE Sydney, and six years with Accor.
