South African Airways has added services between Australia and South Africa, which it said it added to support the continued uplift in demand.

“These additional services open up solid availability across both Economy and Business Class, particularly across peak periods where we’ve seen consistent pressure on inventory,” it said.

“It’s a good opportunity to revisit previously constrained bookings or secure new business with confidence.”

SAA also remains competitively positioned in market, offering a competitive option for both leisure and corporate travellers.

“We encourage agents to take advantage of the added capacity while availability remains strong.”

The Friday departure ex-Johannesburg, paired with a Saturday ex-Perth, creates a highly practical and sellable weekend travel flow, the carrier said.

“It’s a strong fit across leisure and VFR and corporate segments, giving customers the ability to maximise time on the ground without needing to travel midweek.”
