South African Tourism has teamed up with Taronga Zoo on an array of exciting experiences for the school holidays, plus the chance to win an unforgettable trip for a family of four to South Africa to see rhinos, lions and other charismatic animals in the wild.
To celebrate the partnership, four hand-painted rhino statues have made themselves at home at Taronga Zoo Sydney showcasing winning artworks from the zoo’s guests and zoo friends.
Throughout the month, guests can collect a complimentary lion hat at either of Taronga’s two zoos and embark on the Wild Safari trail with their own bespoke map encouraging little adventurers to crack the code and learn more about some of Taronga and South Africa’s incredible animals and eco-tourism practices.
A Savannah Safari Passport – jam-packed with fascinating facts about the Savannah – awaits those who complete the trail as well as a code word to go in the draw to win an unforgettable trip to South Africa valued at $34,000.
The best part? Thanks to South African Tourism, one lucky family of four will get the chance to see South Africa’s majestic animals in the wild and learn more about ongoing conservation efforts aimed at securing their future.
There are three unique ways and chances to enter; simply head online to taronga.org.au, complete the Wild Safari trail to uncover the codeword or get creative and pose for a photo, whether it be with a statue or plush toy at Taronga Zoo Sydney or a living Rhino at Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
