South Africa’s The Royal Portfolio has appointed Nigel Pace, and industry veteran with close to 30 years of experience in hospitality, including 25 years in general manager roles, as its executive head of sales.
The appointment of Pace, widely respected for his expertise in luxury hospitality, marks an exciting new chapter for The Royal Portfolio as the brand continues to evolve and elevate its offering.
Pace has an impressive list of properties behind his name including a stint as The Liz McGrath Collection, as general manager of The Plettenberg Hotel. He was also the general manager of Cape Grace and Singita Kruger National Park.
He has also held key roles as GM of NIYAMA Private Islands in the Maldives and MD of The Stack. Most recently he was head of hospitality at Tswalu Kalahari Reserve.
