The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Traveloka signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Singapore on 16 July, 2026, extending their tourism marketing partnership to include Australia for the first time.
The agreement was the fourth between the two organisations since an initial deal in April 2019, followed by further agreements in May 2022 and January 2024. It covered five source markets: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Australia.
Under the partnership, STB and Traveloka said they would collaborate on co-branded tactical campaigns on Traveloka’s platform, destination content, marketing tied to Singapore’s events calendar, and the exchange of aggregated travel data to inform how Singapore was marketed in each market.
The renewed deal also expanded to include events marketing, positioning Singapore as a hub for live entertainment. Campaigns would target two traveller segments: people early in their careers, and families with children, as part of STB’s existing “We Don’t Wait For Fun” campaign.

STB chief executive Melissa Ow said the renewal reflected the importance of the Southeast Asian and Australian markets, and Traveloka’s role in helping the board grow high-yield visitation to Singapore.
“This renewal reflects the importance of Southeast Asia and Australia, as well as the strength of our longstanding partnership with Traveloka,” she said. “Traveloka’s reach, combined with its deep understanding of how travellers in this region discover and book, makes it a strategic partner in our efforts to grow high-yield visitation and ensure Singapore remains a destination worth returning to, time and again.”
Traveloka co-founder and chief executive officer Ferry Unardi said Singapore remained one of the most popular destinations among the platform’s travellers, and that demand across its markets continued to grow.
“Singapore is one of the most-loved destinations among our travellers, and demand across our markets continues to grow,” Unardi said. “Our role is to be a trusted enabler, bringing the audience, the insight and the all-in-one booking experience that help STB tell Singapore’s story to the right travellers. After more than half a decade working together, this renewal is a sign of the trust we’ve built.”
Both organisations said they intended to develop seasonal promotions tied to Singapore’s events calendar, and to examine how data and AI tools could support destination marketing, within agreed data-governance and privacy arrangements.
