Stuff the choccies, Qantas just released a wine advent calendar!

Qantas Wine is delivering Christmas cheer with a new advent calendar that aims to celebrate Australian winemakers.

The Qantas Wine Advent Calendar is available to purchase from Qantas.com/wine, and includes 12 bottles of wine from some of Australia’s best-known winemakers, including Penfolds, five 95-point James Halliday-rated wines, and an $85 vintage Champagne.

In the 12 days until Christmas, Qantas customers can discover these bottles of Australian wine in the same fashion as a regular (albeit larger) advent calendar – simply pop the perforated cardboard windows corresponding to the days and voila.

“Supporting Australian producers has never been more important,” a Qantas spokesperson said.

“Qantas Wine is proud to showcase a combination of both boutique and iconic Australian winemakers to its 13 million frequent flyers through this initiative.

“Top up the cellar and your points balance this holiday season while supporting a key Australian industry and getting into the festive spirit.”

Qantas Wine’s Advent Calendars are $270 per case, which includes 12 750-millilitre bottles valued at $22.50 each (ordinarily retails for $460) plus 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent.

The advent calendars are available until 31 December 2020, or until sold out. However, Qantas recommends ordering by 4 December for the best chance of pre-Christmas delivery.
