Vietnam’s newest full-service carrier, Sun PhuQuoc Airways, has appointed Airline Rep Services as its exclusive general sales agent for Australia and New Zealand, ahead of a planned 2027 launch into both markets.
Under the agreement, Airline Rep Services will manage all commercial activity for the airline across both countries, including sales, marketing, trade development, reservations support, distribution and strategic partnerships with the travel industry.
Airline Rep Services is the GSA division of CVFR Travel Group, which represents a portfolio of international carriers across an established network in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways chief executive Nguyen Manh Quan said Australia and New Zealand were strategically important as the carrier expanded its international network. “Airline Rep Services’ extensive market knowledge and strong trade relationships make them the ideal partner to support our long-term growth ambitions in the region,” he said.
CVFR Travel Group chief executive Ram Chhabra said the company was honoured to represent the airline. “This appointment reflects the confidence SPA has placed in our team and our ability to successfully launch and grow new airline brands in the region,” he said.

Launched in November 2025 by Sun Group, one of Vietnam’s leading private corporations, Sun PhuQuoc Airways is expanding its fleet to 32 aircraft in 2026, including Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft from September.
The Hanoi-based carrier flies from Phu Quoc to Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, with further expansion planned to India, Japan, Russia and Kazakhstan.
