Eliminated travel advisors in the Globus family of brands ultimate Globus All Stars Survivor challenge have been given a second chance at the title, as the incentive enters its eighth week.

The incentive has already awarded impressive prizes to winning advisors, including a Globus trip to Morocco, $1,000 in GFOB Travel Credits, a Globus Independence trip to Paris & London and monogrammed July luggage.

This week Survivor Australia icon King George announced “Redemption Island Week” via a video to the GFOB trade Facebook group, revealing that previously eliminated advisors and new agents are eligible for entry. By selling any Cosmos tour, advisors will automatically retain, regain or register their place in the incentive program, competing not only to become the sole survivor, but also for this week’s random prize draw: Bose QuietComfort Earbuds.

To be eligible to compete, bookings must be deposited by 5pm, 9 March. Remember, advisors will be eliminated if no Cosmos bookings are made this week.

After all 12 rounds are completed, two advisors from each state or territory will be flown to Sydney on (flights and accommodation included), to compete in the live Tribal Council event on 14 May, with the final round survivor to win an all expenses paid Avalon Waterways river cruise for two!

How it works

Every Monday GFOB releases the week’s challenge on the trade Facebook group. Participating advisors need to complete the challenge by the time stipulated each week to be in the running. Winners are posted on the Facebook group and contacted by GFOB directly, with weekly prizes distributed by advisors’ local Business Development Managers.

Competing requirements

  • Eligibility: Open to all Australian and New Zealand travel advisors.
  • Challenges: Challenges must be completed by the time stipulated, or advisors will be disqualified, unless stated as a non-elimination round.
  • Bookings: For challenges that involve bookings, a deposit of $500 per person (Globus and Cosmos) or $750 per person (Avalon) will be required at time of booking or within the stipulated challenge period (whichever comes first).
  • Exclusions: Participation is per individual, not per agency or store, and the promotion is not applicable to group bookings.
