Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay is strengthening its commercial force with the promotion of Jayshree Sabhlok to director of marketing and the appointment of Jacques Rogers-Meyer as director of sales and distribution.
With over 18 years of industry experience, Sabhlok has worked for Marriott International since 2023 when she joined as cluster manager, brand, marketing & digital.
She has played a key role in driving brand, marketing and digital strategy across Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park, Sydney Harbour Marriott, Courtyard North Ryde and Four Points by Sheraton Sydney.
Her leadership fosters collaboration, open communication and a workplace culture that values diverse perspectives.
Prior to joining Marriott International, Sabhlok held positions at Daydream Island Resort and Living Reef, Primus Hotel Sydney and The Westin and Le Meridien in Bahrain.
Rogers-Meyer joins the Sydney Harbour Marriott team with more than 20 years in the industry.
He specialises in hotel sales with strategies focused on market growth and developing the next generation of business leaders, having held senior positions across the UK, South Africa and New Zealand.
Rogers-Meyer has worked for a number of global hotel groups including Hilton, IHG, Langham Hospitality Group and EVT Hotels & Resorts.
He has also contributed to industry leadership through board roles, with Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA) and the Hong Kong New Zealand Business Association.
