Sydney Exhibition Centre at Glebe Island’s (SEC@GI) winter events calendar kicks into gear this week with Australia’s premier lighting event for the international lighting community.

SPARC International Lighting Event 2015 takes place from May 27-29, featuring a line-up of both internationally renowned experts in lighting design, education, research, and architecture.

The event aligns with Vivid Sydney, the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest annual celebration of light, music, and ideas.

“The complimentary ferry services between Darling Harbour and Glebe Island have become an integral part of the experience of attending an event here at the centre,” SEC@GI general manager, Malu Barrios said.

The Centre advises ferry patrons that due to Vivid events taking place in Darling Harbour, Glebe Island ferry services will operate from Pier 26 Aquarium Wharf, opposite the Sydney Sea Life Aquarium, from 6pm onward, on May 27 and 28. All other services will operate from Convention Jetty as normal.

Ferry timetables are available here.
