Travel and event management company TAG has hosted its annual Amplify conference at the W Melbourne and The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne, bringing together staff and supplier partners to celebrate another year of growth, collaboration and innovation.

Following another strong year across all regions, TAG’s chief revenue officer, Shane Barr, shared the company’s latest achievements with attendees at the conference, from 14-16 May.

Globally, TAG recorded strong revenue growth, driven by several new client wins.

“TAG continues to build strong momentum globally, and the past year has been a reflection of the hard work and commitment of our teams across every region,” Barr said. “From securing new client partnerships to expanding our specialist services, we’ve continued to strengthen our position in the market while remaining focused on delivering exceptional experiences for our clients.”

TAG also continued to see strong momentum across its entertainment division, with growth in production travel and a successful touring season supporting more than 1,000 tours in APAC.

“APAC has continued to be a key growth region for TAG, driven by the strength of our people, longstanding client relationships and the momentum generated through our expanding footprint across Australia and New Zealand. As we continue to invest in our teams, technology and service offering, we’re well positioned for further growth and to support TAG’s broader global ambitions.”

Looking ahead, TAG remains focused on strategic growth opportunities, operational excellence and continued investment in technology and innovation to further enhance the client experience.

The Platinum Partner Day featured global business updates from Shane Barr and Vicki Marcroft, chief people officer, alongside expert divisional panels that provided industry insights and explored future opportunities across TAG’s specialist sectors.

The event program also included TAG’s annual Partner Appreciation Dinner at Higher Ground, a refreshed Partner Showcase connecting TAG staff with key industry suppliers and partners, and concluded with the annual TAGGIE Awards, celebrating outstanding achievements across the APAC business, followed by a special guest DJ set from Eric Powell.
