It’s been just over a week since the Amazing Tastes of Thailand Roadshow wrapped! Here’s a recap of each event, complete with highlights and a list of the megaminds who triumphed at trivia.
Over 50 representatives of Thai hotels, attractions and airlines exhibited their products and networked with Australian travel professionals from 15 to 21 May in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane respectively.
Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) director for Oceania Suladda Sarutilavan shared with the audience key strategies – promoting Thai local experiences highlighted by gastronomy, tourism dispersal and insights into creating responsible tourism — balanced for tourism, the environment and community needs.
TAT’s marketing manager for Australia, Sherly Handjojo, presented Thailand’s unique and latest attractions in Bangkok, Phuket, Samui, Krabi, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Trat.
