TFE Hotels is opening the highly anticipated Adina Chermside Brisbane in mid-to-late April 2026, introducing a new era of contemporary apartment-style hotel living to one of Brisbane’s fastest-growing urban centres.

Perfectly positioned just 20 minutes from the CBD – and only moments from Westfield Chermside and adjacent to the Prince Charles Hospital – the 148-key hotel brings Adina’s signature “casual living philosophy” to Brisbane’s thriving northern corridor.

Home to Queensland’s largest shopping centre, Chermside offers more than 400 stores, major retailers, vibrant dining precincts, a cinema and extensive entertainment options – creating a sought-after destination for travellers who appreciate world-class retail and experiences on their doorstep.

“But it’s not just its retail credentials or seamless access to both the CBD and airport or proximity to the Prince Charles that make Chermside one to watch,” TFE Hotels group chief operating officer Chris Sedgwick said.

“Chermside is poised to shine as Brisbane prepares for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

“With the city’s new 63,000-seat Olympic Stadium set to be built in Victoria Park – an inner-city location serving as the centrepiece for athletics and the opening and closing ceremonies – Adina Chermside offers convenient access to the Olympic action while providing a home away from home for visitors.”

Designed by award-winning WMK Architecture, the hotel takes shape through a series of stepped forms that bring natural light into corridors and guest areas. Strong horizontal lines and vertical screens add depth to the building’s look while boosting shade and privacy.

With an external material palette inspired by Chermside’s local character – the traditional brickwork, rendered surfaces and terracotta tone of the neighbourhood – and supported by passive solar design, water-saving features and intelligent room controls, the building is designed to be environmentally responsive and deeply connected to place.

“Our design embraces Brisbane’s subtropical lifestyle by optimising the building’s orientation to capture sweeping suburban and city views, while a landscaped exterior space provides a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor as guests arrive at reception,” WMK director of projects David Percival said.

“Generous glazing and corridor daylighting reduce the need for artificial lighting, while living greenery integrated into the façades enriches the urban experience and evokes a subtropical feel. Operable awning windows also give guests the option of natural ventilation.”

Inside, Adina Chermside’s interiors are underpinned by a philosophy of community, sanctuary and connection. Drawing on the natural calm of the nearby Chermside Hills Reserve, the design creates a restorative environment that feels welcoming and contemporary.

Soft, nature-inspired materials flow throughout the hotel, ensuring every space – from the lobby lounge to the cafe/bar and meeting rooms – feels thoughtfully considered and connected.

This sense of continuity enhances comfort for business travellers, families, long-stay guests and those visiting the neighbouring health precinct.

Adina Chermside Brisbane offers a collection of studios, one-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom interconnecting family apartments. Each apartment is equipped with kitchen and laundry facilities for effortless longer stays or for families on the go. On-site amenities include an all-day dining café/bar, an inviting lobby lounge and meeting rooms, a fully equipped gym and undercover parking.

With world-class retail, strong public transport connections and proximity to Brisbane’s flagship Olympic venue, Chermside is set to emerge as a dynamic accommodation hub for visitors seeking style, convenience and an elevated home-away-from-home experience.

Adina Chermside – developed by Limitless Developments, a South-East Queensland-based company owned by local developer, Nick Barr – and helmed by general manager Sue Rowe joins a growing network of 44 Adina Apartment Hotels across Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Asia. The hotel is on track to open mid-to-late April.

Opening special

Guests that book at Adina Chermside by 30 April 2026 and stay from 1 May to 31 July 2026 and receive a 15 per cent discount on the rooms, a $50 Westfield voucher, a bottle of wine and noon check out. Room rates from $211.
