Richard is well known among hospitality circles, previously as General Manager Food & Beverage at Treasury Casino & Hotel and Director of Beverage at The Star, Sydney.
In his new role as General Manager Food and Beverage at Jupiters Hotel & Casino, Richard will play a pivotal role in the $345 million redevelopment including Jupiters’ new six-star hotel suite tower, which will include new restaurants, bars and VIP gaming facilities.
1. The great thing about my job is… The people, the creativity in hospitality and that no day is ever the same!
2. The challenge for the industry is… Red tape, lack of people wanting to take up hospitality as a career and there are just not enough chefs.
3. My greatest achievement is… I have two great achievements. Firstly my healthy daughter and secondly becoming General Manager Food and Beverage at Jupiters Hotel & Casino while the property undergoes a $345 million redevelopment.
4. I try to relax by… Spending time with my family and also enjoying a great tequila!

11. For anyone starting out in the industry one piece of advice I’d give would be… Work hard and don’t take yourself too seriously.
