Event planners can now immerse their guests amongst 20,000 plants which are on display as part of the horticulture masterpiece, Love Your Nature, at The Calyx in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.

This extraordinary living wall, which is 50m long, celebrates the colourful world of plant-love, amongst delicate orchids, a glass ceiling and agile event space. It is designed to provide event and conference-goers with an inspiring nature-filled experience.

From seductive scents to masterful mimicry, Love Your Nature delights the senses with a kaleidoscope of colour, plants and passion, as well as one of the largest vertical floral walls in the southern hemisphere.

Chief executive of the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust, Denise Ora, said the Gardens’ talented horticulture and design teams have once again created the ultimate conversation starter, and a stunning and informative floral display.

“The Calyx is a unique event space in the heart of Sydney’s CBD and provides endless creative solutions for event planners to create memorable and distinctive events for their guests. The incredible Love Your Nature display, with vibrant colours, textures and scents, provides more than just a stunning backdrop – it gives guests an immersive botanical experience,” said Ora.

To accompany the blooming flora, The Calyx’ culinary experts Laissez-faire Catering have launched new flavours for their spring events menu which includes 90 per cent of the produce being sourced from farms in the Orange and Mudgee region.

A taster of the new seasonal canapes include:

• Yamba prawns, mango & chilli salsa and lemonade jelly – YAMBA

• Coconut crumbed chicken tender skewer, kaffir lime sauce (gf) – GIRRAWEEN

• Yoghurt-braised lamb skewer, tahini drizzle, fresh herbs (gf) – JUNEE

The Calyx has a capacity of 400 and boasts contemporary architecture, a large-scale living green wall, and indoor and outdoor event space options.
