The website for corporate event planners, The Conference Shop, recently hit the road once again to explore the next target on their conference destination radar, the Far North Coast.

This sub tropical region includes Kingscliff, Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore and Grafton. Well known for it’s naturally picturesque coastlines and beaches, world heritage forests and rural hinterlands further inland, there is more to this region than is perhaps widely known.

Easily accessible, just a 1hr 20 min flight form Sydney to Kingscliff or the Ballina/Byron Gateway, or approx. 2 hrs from Melbourne, The Far North Coast offers a diverse range of quality venues ranging from boutique self contained apartments to five star luxury retreats catering for both small and large groups with day delegate rates starting from just $28 pp.

Additionally, there is so much to see and do, with many activities conducive to great team building or to being included as part of an incentive. Popular water sports, site seeing on foot to the Eastern most point of Australia, scenic flights for a birds eye view, browsing through treasures at local markets, joining a gourmet food tour or, of course, partaking in the most relaxing and rejuvenating range of indulgences courtesy of Australia’s ‘relaxation Capital’, Byron Bay, to name just a few.

Visiting more than 40 suppliers Conference Shop CEO Carla Offord comments, “I was pleasantly surprised by what this region has to offer.  You can choose between the coast, hinterland or inland.  All offer completely unique experiences and a diverse range of corporate offerings,  Venues range from boutique venues, luxury retreats or apartments, to camp style accommodation – there is something for everyone.”

“The beauty of the Far North Coast region is how it manages to maintain its unique small town charm, but has infrastructure such as airports and large hotels in place, making it really suitable for Corporate Groups,” Offord added.

The Far North Coast is the 16th Region to be added to The Conference Shop’s rapidly growing online portfolio.
