The Explorer Society has revealed Saudi Arabia as the latest destination to be added to its portfolio.

Launched in September by former Bench Africa general managers Martin Edwards and Cameron Neill, The Explorer Society already offers tailor-made holidays and private tours around the world, including Africa, South America, the Middle East, Antarctica, and now Saudi Arabia.

“We founded the Society on the belief that there are wonders to be explored all over the world,” Edwards said.

“This not only includes remote destinations, but places like AlUla that have previously been closed to tourism.”

“From ancient volcanoes to rock-hewn buildings, from vibrant cultures to desert adventures, this area is fascinating to explore. We can’t wait to show travellers its depth of experience and attractions.”

In addition to exploring Hegra and AlUla, The Explorer Society will also offer in-depth explorations of other areas of Saudi Arabia, including Jeddah and Riyadh.

These offerings can be as a standalone experience or even combined with Jordan to retrace the routes of the Nabataean kingdom.
