Sophie Skillen is the Online Country Manager AU/NZ for the foreign exchange company Travelex.

Oh, and she’s also a speaker at the upcoming Travel DAZE forum thingy we keep banging on about!

Prior to joining the online currency business, Sophie held a number of leading roles at Google both in Australia and abroad, including Industry Analyst (Travel) at Google Australia.

In fact, Sophie is an absolute trailblazer in digital marketing and knows exactly how important it is to dive headlong into the future.

She has worked in the areas of digital marketing and strategy for a number of years, helping big brands she says, “get the most out of the web”. Her analytical yet creative approach to problem solving has helped transform companies.

In the ‘unrelated by interesting’ bio section, Sophie graduated from the University of Cambridge with her third year specialism in Experimental and Theoretical Physics.

So what on earth are you waiting for?
