The Walshe Group has announced a series of strategic personnel changes across its business, including a new commercial leadership appointment and several new and expanded roles within its sales team supporting long-term partner Delta Air Lines in Australia.

Nicole Bennett has been appointed commercial manager at The Walshe Group, stepping into a corporate function focused on broader business growth and development. Bennett brings a decade of experience with the company and is well known across the industry for her sales leadership and trade relationships.

Nicole Laurie moves into a newly created position as Sales Manager Australia (Agency), leading Delta Air Lines’ national agency sales effort and working closely with Delta’s Country Manager. Laurie is a two-time NTIA winner for Most Outstanding Sales Executive – Air, taking home the award in both 2022 and 2025.

Clint Jones continues supporting Delta’s agency sales activities in New South Wales, transitioning into the title of Senior Sales Executive (Agency) NSW. Having worked alongside Laurie for several years, Jones offers strong product expertise and established trade relationships across the state.

From 20 April, Yvette Montell joins as Sales Executive (Agency) Victoria, managing trade partner relationships across the state. Montell was most recently recognised as the 2025 NTIA Most Outstanding Sales Executive – Wholesale during her tenure at Inside Travel Group.

The Delta sales team within The Walshe Group sits under the leadership of Kelly Clive, Delta’s Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand, with recruitment for a Brisbane-based sales role set to begin shortly.

The changes come as Delta Air Lines expands its Australian footprint, having recently launched services to Melbourne and Brisbane, with increased Melbourne frequencies due from October to complement its long-standing Sydney operation.
