It’s going to be a wild week for us here at Travel Weekly!

Travel Daze

As many of you are (or at least should be) aware, this week we’re up in Cairns for our spectacular Travel DAZE event.

Taking place across Tuesday and Wednesday at the Cairns Convention Centre, this out-of-the-box conference presents some of the biggest names in travel, all bringing their expertise, creativity and big ideas to the table.

This year we will be looking into the future of travel, with subjects such as AI, sustainability and technographics on the agenda. From panel discussions to expert-led sessions, we’re looking forward to two days full of engaging, fun and informative events.

Travel DAZE will also once again be part of Asia Pacific’s largest marketing and creative conference, Cairns Crocodiles. So Travel Delegates will get to benefit from the incredible keynotes and welcome party.

It’s not too late to join us! Grab a ticket here and get yourself on a plane to Cairns!

Indaba 2025

Also this week, our deputy editor Sofia Geraghty will be in South Africa for Indaba 2025.

Indaba is one of the largest and most prestigious travel and tourism trade shows in Africa, held annually in Durban, South Africa. Hosted by South African Tourism, it showcases the best of African tourism products and services to a global audience of travel buyers, media, and stakeholders.

The four-day conference will be followed by an exclusive trade famil including safaris, an exclusive Zulu cultural experience, and the chance to inspect some of South Africa’s top luxury accommodation.

So, expect a lot of wildlife posts incoming!

And if you don’t hear back from us immediately this week, it’s because we’re either in a conference room at the Cairns Convention Centre or on the African savannah… not that we have a preference.

You’ll see lots of wild animal photos this week, both in and out of the conference room.
