Titan Travel has announced that it is launching its product to the Australian market in August, in partnership with Ascend Travel Group, as it looks to widen its distribution and open to new markets internationally.

John Constable, CEO, Saga Travel Group – the parent company of Titan Travel – commented: “As we continue to grow our renowned touring programme, we’re delighted to launch Titan to the Australian market in partnership with Ascend Travel Group.

“Australia boasts a strong retail travel market where travel agents are highly considered and valued for their expertise, and as the leading escorted tour operator of choice for UK travel agents, it makes it a natural market for Titan to expand into.

“We’re confident that Titan’s product will be greatly received by travel agents across the country looking to sell award-winning, expert-led touring holidays, and will provide bring an exciting, innovative and expansive range of product choice to its already established touring market. We look forward to welcoming our first Australian customers on one of our tours soon.”

Titan will allow travel agents across Australia to package a Titan escorted tour alongside its own travel product and flights to sell directly to clients as part of a tailor-made holiday. Under its ‘Adventure Made Effortless’ headline, a dedicated brochure has been produced featuring over 100 itineraries to worldwide destinations including Asia, North America, Europe and Africa. Customers can opt for small group tours, dedicated solo traveller departure dates, active tours and more relaxed single and two centre holidays.

Led by Lynda Wallace, director and Julie Primmer, director, Ascend Travel Group will act as Titan’s general sales agent (GSA) in Australia to drive sales through strategic commercial agreements and activity with selected partners.

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of Titan Travel, and honoured to be representing this multi award-winning touring company in Australia,” Wallace and Primmer said in a joint statement.

“With a strong focus on unique and immersive travel experiences, Titan Travel is set to provide Australian travellers with great value for money and memorable experiences. Drawing on over 45 years of touring experience, and with a long history of working with travel agents and understanding their needs, we’re confident that Titan will be well-received in the Australian market.”

Titan’s product will launch in Australia from 30th August 2023.
