120 Perth Agents enjoyed a fun and interactive Thai night with the 15 most-wanted Thai hotels and resorts, Thai Airways and Singapore Airlines presenting their latest updates.

Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Director, Suladda Sarutilavan announced three key strategies for 2019; positioning Thailand as a preferred destination in the Australian market, promoting tourism dispersal and most importantly being responsible balancing the needs of tourism, environment and local communities.

Sherly Handjojo, TAT Australia Marketing Manager presented Thailand’s exciting developments, from attractions to transportation. Michelin Guidebook Thailand expanded beyond Bangkok, now includes Phuket and Phang-Nga provinces.

There are now 27 Michelin-star restaurants across the Land of Smiles. Phuket Airport’s renovation (both Domestic and International terminals) have been completed as of June 2018. The latest public transportation helping tourists get around efficiently are Phuket Smart Bus and Chiang Mai Transit; both air conditioned, have free WIFI and security camera.

Newest and most spectacular shopping Centre in the country is now open – ICONSIAM located on Chao Phraya Riverside in Bangkok, has indoor floating market, 3000-seat state of the art auditorium, a museum, 100 restaurants and a dazzling musical fountain show. Mahanakhon Skywalk is another must-see in Bangkok, the tallest observatory deck in Thailand.
