Tourism Central Australia is on the hunt for a new head of operations based in Alice Springs.
The unique senior leadership role will cover operations, commercial growth and whole-of-agency human resources, set against some of the Red Centre’s most mesmerising landscapes.
As head of operations, the successful applicant will report directly to CEO Danial Rochford and have the authority to deputise, shape strategy, and represent one of only two regional tourism organisations in the Northern Territory.
Offering the unique opportunity to work on the front line of one of Australia’s most iconic visitor economies, the role also involves leading teams across Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and Yulara.
Applicants should have experience managing tourism operations, proven experience in HR management and demonstrated commercial acumen.
In a post on LinkedIn, Rochford said he was excited to launch the search.
“In this role, you will work alongside myself and an amazing team to lead TCA’s front-facing operations, manage our people and culture, and drive commercial outcomes for our members and the visitor economy,” Rochford wrote.
