Tourism New Zealand has partnered with Warners Bros’ and Mojang Studios to create a world-first destination DLC for Minecraft, an official Minecraft itinerary, and has announced a new travel advisor incentive.
The 100 per cent Pure Minecraft itinerary aims to inspire clients to transcend the virtual quest and craft their real-life adventure as a bookable trip to Aotearoa, New Zealand. Six locations featured in the Aotearoa DLC and itinerary:

- Rotorua (Bay of Plenty)
- Kapiti Island (Wellington)
- Abel Tasman (Nelson Tasman)
- Tekapo (Mackenzie)
- Doubtful Sound (Fiordland)
The latest incentive from Tourism New Zealand gives Australian Travel Sellers the opportunity to experience some of the 100 per cent Pure Minecraft itinerary for themselves, uncovering the country’s rich culture, other-worldly landscapes and welcoming people.
The prize, valued over $9,500, is valid for one lucky travel seller and their travel companion. It includes:
