Tourism Portfolio has been named the exclusive Australasian sales and marketing representative of Dublin-based destination management company A Touch of Ireland.

Since 1989, the DMC has showcased the Emerald Isle to international guests seeking incentive travel, events and special group tour experiences. Over the years the company has worked with some major global brands including Fendi, Hewlett Packard, Kraft Foods and Heineken.

According to Touch of Ireland founder Sue Uda, the destination offers the Australian and New Zealand MICE markets an “alluring combination of natural beauty, mythical culture, a relaxed philosophy and a cool funky edge”.

“At the same time, Ireland boasts an exceptional array of high-quality and competitively-priced hotels, meeting spaces, logistical support, entertainment and guides,” she said

Meanwhile, Tourism Portfolio managing director Donna Kessler highlighted the Irish DMC’s 26 year of experience and its strong reputation.

“Like Tourism Portfolio, the company is committed to exceeding expectations,” Kessler said.

“We are looking forward to working with Sue and her team to bring Ireland to the Australasian MICE market.”
