Alongside this, Tourism WA has launched a domestic ‘Create Your Own Gourmet Escape in WA’ marketing campaign, which runs until the end of September 2019 and features MasterChef Australia judge George Calombaris.
The campaign partners with Jetstar and as well as Helloworld Travel to target the east coast market and encourage them to holiday in WA, with the Swan Valley, Perth and Margaret River all highlighted.
Travel packages with Jetstar are allowing visitors from the east coast to fly to Perth from $145 one-way on selected travel dates.
Helloworld Travel is offering ‘WA Foodie’ holiday exclusives starting from $399 per person, where visitors can choose from a range of gourmet packages such as a Perth foodie experience, a Margaret River food and wine escape, and a deal that includes tickets to one of this year’s Western Australia Gourmet Escape events.
