The Walshe Group has been reappointed by Tourism Western Australia (Tourism WA), extending its East Coast representation of the destination following a partnership that began in 2022.

The Walshe Group will continue to support Tourism WA’s domestic tourism strategy across key interstate markets, with a focus on Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

Working closely with Tourism WA’s Domestic Market team, the organisation will deliver an annual trade engagement plan spanning travel advisor training, familiarisation programs, industry events and trade communications designed to build awareness of Western Australia’s tourism experiences and help drive visitation.

The account will continue to be led by Tourism WA trade account manager, Christine Poole. Poole will oversee travel trade engagement and trade media relations across the East Coast while maintaining relationships with travel advisors, wholesalers, industry partners and travel trade media.

In a post on LinkedIn, Poole shared her excitement at the reappointment.

“Looking forward to this next chapter working alongside the Dream Team, whilst continuing to showcase what the dreamy state of Western Australia has to offer,” she said.
