Aussie marketing platform Travel Agent Finder has launched a new Canada Specialists website page, designed to help travellers quickly identify and connect with Platinum-level Certified Canada travel experts they can trust.

Developed in collaboration with Destination Canada, the new page explains what the Canada Specialist program is, and what benefits it gives a traveller to book with a certified expert.

A strong call-to-action to book with a specialist is then followed by a featured list of Australian travel agents who have completed their Platinum Canada Specialist Program (CSP) training, positioning them front and centre for travellers actively seeking destination expertise.

Making expertise visible

Canada is not a destination travellers want to “wing”. Vast distances, an incredible variety of experiences, dramatic seasonal changes and intricate routing mean the difference between an average itinerary and an exceptional one often comes down to specialist knowledge.

Travel Agent Finder founder Anna Shannon said the new page responds directly to how modern travellers choose an advisor.

“As travel agents we often use specialist logos and badges as a marketing tool, but are we really explaining what it means to travellers? What’s in it for them?” Shannon said.

“Travellers are not on our platform looking for a bargain holiday package – they are actively searching for a specialist agent, and with that, they are seeking proof that the agent truly knows the destination and is the best fit for their needs. The Platinum Canada Specialist badge is a clear trust signal – it represents time invested in one of Australia’s best destination training programs, and we explain what that means, ensuring that credibility gives travellers the confidence they are craving before they even enquire.”

When travellers visit the new Canada Specialists page, they are not browsing generic agent listings. Instead, they see a verified hub of Platinum-level specialists, giving them immediate confidence that they are dealing with an expert.

“The Platinum badge makes that expertise visible,” she= said. “It reassures travellers they’re in experienced hands before the first conversation even begins.”

Call-out to agents to get featured

Travel Agent Finder is now calling on agent members who specialise in Canada – and want to be known for it – to complete their Platinum level Canada Specialist Program training and request their Platinum badge to be featured on the page.

“We’re proud to support initiatives that elevate destination expertise and help advisors stand out in a crowded marketplace,” Destination Canada GSA’s Director of Travel Trade in Australia, Nathan McLoughlin, said. “This new Canada Specialists page aligns perfectly with our commitment to empowering advisors and connecting travellers with professionals who truly understand Canada.”

Agents can request their Travel Agent Finder Platinum badge from inside their account dashboard’s Specialist Badges hub. Once approved, they will be automatically added to the new page.
