Four travel agents have returned from an action-packed, seven-night ski adventure in British Columbia as part of Sno’n’Ski’s Whistler and Vancouver famil.
In partnership with Destination British Columbia, this exclusive famil included six nights at Canada’s largest ski resort, Whistler Blackcomb, and one night in Vancouver.
The trip kicked off on 1 February with a stay at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, offering the agents a firsthand look at Canada’s vibrant urban and ski culture.
“Vancouver has so much to offer! My highlight was the Granville Island Food Tour—it’s an immersive way to experience the local cuisine, and I highly recommend it,” Sno’n’Ski travel expert, Marty, said.
From there, the group headed to Whistler Blackcomb, where they explored some of the resort’s top accommodations, gaining valuable insight into which properties suit different travellers. The agents were based across three hotels, the Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa, Crystal Lodge and Delta Whistler Village Suites, and got to experience first-hand why these properties are favourites for Aussie skiers and snowboarders.
They also experienced incredible skiing and snowboarding at Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain. Beyond the slopes, the group also experienced Whistler’s winter activities, which left a lasting impression.
“The snowmobile tour with Canadian Wilderness Adventures was incredible—navigating backcountry trails felt like having the forest all to yourself. One of the coolest things I’ve ever done,” Sno’n’Ski travel expert, Kelsie, said.
“Ripping around on a frozen lake was such a surreal experience,” Marty added.
Dining in Whistler was another highlight, with the group indulging in a range of culinary experiences. A standout moment was dining at Barefoot Bistro, where they not only enjoyed a world-class meal but also learned how to sabre champagne.
For travellers seeking an unforgettable winter getaway, Whistler paired with a few nights in Vancouver offers the perfect combination of adventure, relaxation, and culture. With so much to do, the hardest part will be deciding what to fit into the itinerary!
