Travel Associates Mosman has officially re-opened as Evans & Turner Travel Associates, celebrating the occasion with an intimate ‘Name on the Door’ champagne breakfast on Thursday morning.
Led by one of Travel Associates highest performers, Stewart Evans, the store is currently the most productive Travel Associates business in NSW and ranks number 3 in Australia.
Evans has over two decades of experience with the Flight Centre Travel Group and close to three years as a business leader for Travel Associates in Mosman.
Addressing a room of team members, clients and business leaders, Evans acknowledged Flight Centre Travel Group’s CEO, Graham “Skroo” Turner, the Founder with whom he has chosen to partner in the business, citing Turner as an inspirational figure and crucial in achieving the business success he has today.
Booking over 1300 one-of-a-kind dream holidays for the Mosman community, the newly named Evans & Turner Travel Associates has enjoyed an incredibly successful year, doubling its turnover from the previous year.
Danielle Galloway, Global Managing Director of Luxury and Independent brands FCTG was in attendance to officially declare the store renamed.
With staff growth up 15 per cent year on year, the business saw 4 team members qualify for the FCTG Global Gathering (held this year in Bali), an accolade reserved for the top 10 per cent of high achievers within the company.
Speaking at the event, Travel Associates General Manager AU & NZ, Rachel Kingswell, thanked Evans for his dedication to the Travel Associates brand and commended the incredible achievement.
“It’s no small surprise that we are here today to officially recognise the business ownership of Stewart Evans”.
“The Name on the Door is core to our DNA. We are entrepreneurial.
We take responsibility for our success, and we also deserve to be recognised for being the best of the best, and that’s exactly what the Name on the Door of a Travel Associates office represents.
“I am so proud to be here today to present Stewart Evans with the new business name ‘Evans & Turner’ and to rename this office officially”.
