Travel business owner Holly Velardo has launched a new podcast that shares practical business strategies and connects travel professionals with industry changing resources.

Velardo, HollyDay Travel founder and travel industry expert with 25 years of experience, is launching the new podcast titled “Travel Business Unlocked” tomorrow, 2 September. “After building my travel agency from the ground up while raising five children, I’ve learned countless lessons about what works and what doesn’t in this industry,” Velardo said.

“I started this podcast because I’m often asked how I built my business, and I wanted to create a platform where I could give back to the industry that’s given me so much.”

Travel Business Unlocked features interviews with the mentors, industry leaders, and business experts who played crucial roles in Velardo’s success. The podcast covers topics including:

  • Building remote teams and effective hiring practices
  • Creating systems that streamline travel businesses
  • Implementing AI and technology solutions
  • Customer service strategies that drive repeat business
  • Marketing approaches that attract ideal clients

Velardo, who serves as a Director on the ATAC Board and has received multiple industry recognitions, brings a wealth of practical experience to the podcast. Her approach focuses on actionable advice that listeners can implement immediately in their own businesses.

“This isn’t about me pretending to have all the answers,” Velardo added. “It’s about sharing real experiences, mistakes I’ve made, lessons I’ve learned, and introducing listeners to the incredible people and communities that helped me along the way.”
