Tony Gothard stepped into a newly created role at Travel + Leisure Co. as vice president, commercial partnerships and marketing international.
Gothard brings more than two decades of experience in travel and tourism and a deep regional expertise across Southeast Asia and the Pacific Rim.
He served most recently as head of global procurement, leisure at Flight Centre Travel Group and chief commercial officer at Luxury Escapes.
Gothard’s proven track record in navigating diverse markets, building high-value partnerships, and leading high-performing teams will build Travel + Leisure Co.’s commitment to deepening its presence across the Asia Pacific region.
The appointment also marks a somewhat full-circle moment. Gothard previously worked as senior director, revenue, sales and marketing at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (formerly Wyndham Hotel Group). The group was a part of Wyndham Worldwide, which later became Travel + Leisure Co., marking a return to the business.
Spearheading the next stage of growth, Gothard will develop strategic partnerships and integrated marketing initiative to unlock new revenue streams, enhance member value and strengthen brand presence across the region.
