This week on Travel Weekly TV Lisa Teiotu from MSC Cruises joins Hoda in the studio for an insight into 2024 cruising predictions and everything MSC!

Lisa has a different history in the travel industry than some of our other guests having begun her career in sales at Hoyts Group before moving to Royal Caribbean in 2016. In 2019 Teiotu joined MSC as sales director of Australia and New Zealand and now is the managing director in the same department.

In this episode, we learn about MSC’s goal to be net zero by 2050 and the first-ever net-zero cruise sailed by MSC Euribia from Saint-Nazaire to Copenhagen earlier this year which was sailed to, “prove it is possible,” Teiotu, said.

We also learn about ‘the new cruiser’ demographic which has surprised the industry post-COVID along with the return of the Asian market to cruising.
