Global travel distributor TravelCube will ditch all site based cancellation and amendment fees from its retail booking website as it seeks to “make it easier” for its industry partners.
The company has already implemented a no credit card fee policy, a no currency fluctuation policy, and “more transparent” commission levels.
“We recognise that in this industry, not everything goes to plan,” vice president sales and marketing Pacific John Stucci said.
“The easier we can make it for our valued agents to do business with us, the easier it becomes for them to do business with their clients, so removing unnecessary fees and restrictions is a no brainer.”
Stucci promised that these changes are “just the first of many” that will take place this year.
“Not only will they transform how our travel partners interact with us, it will greatly enhance what we are able to offer them,” he said. “It’s an amazing time to be a part of the business.”
All site charges have now been removed.
