TravelManagers has unveiled its new corporate brand, Corporate Travel Specialists (CTS), which paves the way for corporate travel advisors and existing personal travel managers (PTMs) to expand their corporate travel offering.

According to operations manager, Troy Coelho, the new brand was introduced to fill the gap in the market for a comprehensive corporate advisor model. CTS was announced to Personal Travel Managers (PTMs) several weeks ago, with an invitation to register expressions of interest.

“CTS will offer an extensive suite of corporate-focused resources, including a new website, marketing collateral, corporate airfares, hotel and car hire programmes, administrative support from a Corporate Operations Executive and business support from a dedicated Corporate Business Development Manager (BDM).”

“In addition, our CTS advisors and their clients will benefit from TravelManagers’ system of financial protections, which we believe are the best in the Australian travel industry. These include, but are not limited to, our client trust account and the TravelManagers Customer Fund.”

As well as being tasked with recruiting established corporate advisors to the brand, Coelho says the new Corporate BDM will oversee a newly established Client Leads Program to recruit new Small and Medium Sized Enterprise (SME) accounts and pair them with dedicated PTMs – either home-based or as in-house specialists.

“Companies that already have in-house travel advisors or are looking to switch to our model, will also benefit from partnering with Corporate Travel Specialists in order to access to our industry-leading systems and support,” he adds.

“A new online booking tool will allow PTMs to create Amadeus Smart PNRs with mixed carriage, mixed fare content, plus hotel and cars in the same PNR.”

Coelho says PTMs can choose whether to brand fully as a Corporate Travel Specialist or opt to dual brand, enabling them to trade as TravelManagers on the leisure side of their business. Initially, 26 PTMs have opted into the CTS brand, with three trading solely as a Corporate Travel Specialists, and the remainder opting to dual brand.

“The concept dovetails neatly with our long-established ‘choose-your-own-adventure’ ethos that supports every home-based travel advisor in tailoring their business to match their individual interests, passions and goals.”

“The response so far has been positive, with a number of our existing PTMs already having seized on this exciting new opportunity, with many opting to dual brand and make the most of both options.”

Among these is VIC-based Angela Spicer, who says she is “buzzing” about the new brand and its potential impact on her business. “Joining Corporate Travel Specialists will give me added tools and support for growing the corporate side of my business, while still allowing me to do what I love on the leisure side. With new systems, corporate-focused support and fresh business leads, I feel like there are no limits on where I can take my corporate travel portfolio.”
