Travelmarvel has released its 2027 Rail Tours brochure, with all tours now fully operated by Travelmarvel.
The shift marks a change in how the program is delivered, with Travelmarvel taking full control of operations across its rail itineraries in Europe, Asia, North America, Australia and New Zealand.
Each tour is escorted by a Travelmarvel tour director and local guides, with accommodation, porterage and optional add-ons through the company’s Enhance Your Journey options included in the offering.
Sarah Latimore, general manager – international product and operations, said the in-house program gave guests a new way to experience Travelmarvel’s destinations, with rising interest in rail travel among customers.
A new addition to the 2027 program is the Scotland by Rail itinerary, a 10-day small group tour capped at 24 travellers. The trip includes the Kyle Line, the West Highland Line and the Jacobite steam train. Prices start from AU$7,595 per person, with savings of up to $1,400 per couple. Travellers can extend the itinerary with a European Gems river cruise. Rail tours are also offered in Switzerland, Scandinavia and Italy.
The Magical Japan itinerary runs for 12 days, capped at 24 guests, and includes travel on the Shinkansen bullet train, a visit to Miyajima’s Itsukushima Shrine and time in Hiroshima. Prices start from AU$8,295 per person.
