If you work in travel, the desire to travel is strong. But if you’re a travel company, you need a base to start from.

This is where the industry’s best offices step in. We take a sneak peek at the companies who bring the world into their cubicles and whisk staff away with global inspiration.

DISNEY

From sliding doors plastered in white Mickey motifs to an array of toys in the reception area, Disney’s office in Sydney springs the child within everyone. It’s hard not to walk in and shriek at the toys and general happy vibe.

The reception area has shelves of toys, from figurines to plush, while the coffee table is littered with picture books. The four flat screen TV’s sit in a grid with each playing a different Disney channel or movie. Chicken Little is the prominent player.

The seats are red with white buttons, a la Minnie Mouse aesthetic. Inside, the first meeting room is a little more masculine, coated in superheroes. The Marvel room has more superheroes than we could identify, but the Hulk takes centre stage.

The Captain America logo is also stitched into the carpet. Then there is a Star Wars room and a Finding Nemo room. Staff say these spaces enable creativity. While Melbourne is the head office, Sydney is an impressive space. Staff also have a volunteer program which ranges from animal shelters to painting Disney designs at children’s hospitals.
