Trilogy Hotels has broadened its portfolio in western Sydney with the signings of Novotel Sydney Parramatta, Mercure Sydney Parramatta and Leura Gardens Resort.
The news sees the Huang Family double its portfolio with Trilogy to four hotels the Novotel and Mercure sites.
The 194-room Novotel Sydney Parramatta offers modern amenities and stylish decor with an outdoor heated pool, steam room, gym, sun deck and a bar & restaurant with views over the Parramatta River. It also has over 915 square metres of conference space and is within walking distance to CommBank Stadium and Parramatta Square.

The Mercure Hotel (featured image) is home to 165 rooms and is a mainstay of the River City’s hotel scene with a restaurant & bar, gym, swimming pool, tennis court and four versatile meeting rooms.
Trilogy Hotels will commence operations for both hotels in early September with both assets to continue to be branded by Accor under a franchise agreement that provides enhanced distribution capability, marketing and loyalty programs.
“The agility of having the Trilogy Hotels team run our operations has been very rewarding,” The Huang Family Portfolio owner and director Frank Huang said.
“We are pleased to have signed another two hotels, allowing us to connect with our guests in greater and more personalised ways.
Trilogy Hotels CEO thanked the Huang family for their continued faith in the Trilogy team and model.
“We kickstart operations next month and look forward to helping realise the full potential of each asset, driving bottom-line performance and efficiencies by operating the four hotels together.
Schwartz Family Company, Australia’s biggest privately owned hotel group, has also deepened its ties with Trilogy as it signs the Leura Gardens Resort as its fifth within the group.
Leura Gardens Resort is a 93-room boutique hotel nestled into the picturesque suburb of Leura – the gateway to the Blue Mountains National Park and just minutes from the award winning Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains and the Leura Golf Club, both of which are part of the Schwartz network.

The resort will remain unbranded, leveraging the already established Leura Gardens name, while SiteMinder will provide Trilogy Hotels with a complete channel management solution including taking bookings directly to the resort. Trilogy will also be looking to enhance and maximise the potential of food and beverage outlets.
“Leura Gardens Resort remains a special place for my family with so many fond memories of holidaying there with my parents back in the 1970’s,” Schwartz Family Company owner and director Dr Jerry Schwartz said.
Scott Boyes assured the Schwartz Family the importance of the hotel is not lost on the Trilogy team.
“While we’ve only just begun operations, we have great plans in the pipeline for Leura Gardens, capitalising on the nearby Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains,” he said.
“We can now provide a mix of different venues and experiences across Schwartz assets in the Blue Mountains, cementing their position as leading destination for leisure and conference guests in the region.”
