The Travel Corporation (TTC) chairman Carl Leaver was in Sydney this week as the company brought together more than 110 team members from across Asia-Pacific for a three-day conference focused on the group’s next phase of growth.
The gathering marks Leaver’s first official visit to TTC Tour Brands’ new Oceania headquarters at 321 Kent Street in Sydney’s CBD, following the company’s recent relocation.
The conference brought together employees from Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South Africa for strategic planning, brand workshops, leadership presentations and cross-functional sessions.
It comes as TTC prepares for major initiatives across Contiki, Trafalgar and Uniworld, including upcoming brand activity, new customer experiences and continued investment in digital transformation.
“We’re entering one of the most exciting periods in our history, with upcoming major brand activity across Contiki, Trafalgar and Uniworld, alongside significant investment in digital capabilities and customer experience,” Leaver said.
“The energy and momentum across our APAC business is incredibly exciting, and it’s fantastic to see that firsthand.”
TTC Tour Brands managing director Oceania Toni Ambler said the scale of the gathering reflected the company’s confidence in the region.
“This is an exciting moment for our region. Over the past year we’ve been investing heavily in our brands, our people and our customer experience,” Ambler said.
“Bringing together more than 110 colleagues from across APAC alongside Carl demonstrates the importance of this market and the confidence we have in the opportunities ahead.”
The Sydney conference also coincides with the opening of TTC Tour Brands’ new headquarters, which the company said has been designed to support collaboration across its portfolio of travel brands.
The gathering comes as TTC continues to invest in its Asia-Pacific operations and prepares for the next phase of growth across its global portfolio.
